Sitting Services:

I provide sitting services to all of Columbus, Ohio and most of the surrounding suburb areas. Don’t hesitate to contact me if your location is a concern. 

I will make several visits per day. At the minimum two very long visits per day. I found that most birds like to be fed breakfast and left alone while they eat it. So my morning visit is usually to tidy up the cage, prepare the food, and visit while doing miscellaneous requests. (like turning on the radio or TV, opening blinds, cleaning up around the cage/play area, letting the bird out of the cage onto a play stand, take care of other pets, etc…)

My second visit is usually very similar, but preparation for night time. There is always a bunch of one on one time in the evening. With socializing and play time as the main focus. My evening visit usually consist of preparing and giving dinner, tidying up the cage/play areas, and visit while doing miscellaneous requests. (Ex. Turing off the radio or TV before leaving, closing blinds, cleaning up around the cage/play areas, letting the bird out of the cage onto a play stage or area, bring in the mail, water outside plants, taking care of other pets, etc…)

I understand the costs involved raising a family, have animals and going on vacations. For those reasons I only charge my clients one fee. I am not doing this for a quick way to get rich. I watch birds because I love doing it. I know a lot about birds and I am very prepared to take care of any situation that might arise. I take my birds to an all Avian Vet clinic that I once worked at for several years. I am very competent with animal care giving so be assured that your bird(s)/animals are in very capable hands.

Please keep in mind that most pet sitters charge a per visit fee and other services requested are usually an additional fee. I don't do this and that is why my fee is per day.

I want my clients to have the flexibility to afford good animal care while they are away. I will work with you on payment, if that ever is a thought behind not going on a vacation. Please don't shy away from going on a vacation because you don't have the expenses to get proper care for your pet(s). Call me and we can work something out. I am in this business because I love animals and their care is very important to me.

I am a member and insured through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC.

• Sitting is a per day fee --$Upon discussion Usually this is around $16.00-$20.00

• Multiple birds/animals (no worries)--$Upon discussion

(If your birds are small- parakeet, love bird, cockatiel size or smaller- or you have many birds we can talk about the fee. I like to keep the charges reasonable.) I usually watch large birds that require me to get them out of their cage.)

Everything else is included in my visits. (bring in the mail, watering plants, opening/shutting the blinds, turning off/on the TV or radio, turning on/off lights, setting out the trash for pickup, etc…)

Boarding Services:

This is a special request service. I can do this provided that your bird has been vet checked within the last 6 months and is in good health. I have birds of my own and I do not wish to expose them to any illness. Please contact me directly to discuss this service in detail.
